In addition to organising mass marriage at Suttur Kshetra during the Jathra Mahotsav of Adi Jagadguru, monthly mass marriages are being organised every month for all sections of the society since Feb. 2009 at Suttur with the blessings of Sri Shivarathri Deshikendra Swamiji. The monthly mass marriage of November 2023 is being organised on Nov. 22 at Suttur in Nanjangud taluk.
The bride, who wishes to participate in the mass marriage should have completed 18 years and the bridegroom, 21 years. Photos, caste certificates and school admission letter mentioning the age of the applicant should be attested along with the application form. Child marriages will not be entertained. Registrations for mass marriages must be done 8 days before the date of marriage.
