In yet another initiative concerning COVID-19 vaccination campaign, the Mysuru Child Development Centre in association with Child Fund International and HOPE organisation, has launched a mobile vaccination campaign. DHO Dr. K.H. Prasad launched the initiative at a programme organised in the city recently. The campaign involves performance of street plays, distribution of pamphlets and public announcements.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Prasad sought the co-operation of everyone for preventing the possible third wave of the deadly COVID-19 pandemic. Noting that the Mysuru Child Development Centre has launched many a people-friendly campaigns, he lauded the co-operation extended by Child Fund International and HOPE for the revival of Child-friendly Wards at Cheluvamba Hospital. Wishing the campaign all success, the DHO maintained that the Health Department was fully prepared for meeting any eventualities of possible third COVID-19 wave. District Surveillance Officer Dr. Shivaprasad, Chief Planning Officer Mallikarjunaswamy, the Centre’s Francis Danti and others were present.
