Bengaluru: The arrest of BJP MLC C.T. Ravi from Suvarna Vidhana Soudha in Belagavi during the Winter Session of the State Legislature and the Police harassing him by taking him on a wasteful errand (vehicle ride) in other districts throughout the night on the day of arrest in December last, has taken an interesting turn with the intervention of Governor Thaawarchand Gehlot.
Following a complaint by C.T. Ravi, who is also a former Minister, Governor Gehlot is said to have written a letter to Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Dec. 31, 2024 asking him to take suitable action against all the Cops who were involved in the incident.
