Mysuru: K.R. MLA T.S. Srivatsa performed ‘Guddali Puja’ (ground breaking ceremony) for the developmental works at Gandabherunda park in Kuvempunagar on Friday.
The works taken up at a cost of Rs. 27 lakh include laying of tiles, installation of Dhwaja Stambha (flag pole), green lawn, ornamental plants, construction of 10,000 litre capacity water sump etc.
MCC Zone-3 Assistant commissioner Sandeep, MCC EE (Electrical) Deepak, AEE (Horticulture) Mohan, contractors Mahadev, Manju and others were present.
