Mysore/Mysuru: The newly-formed 'MITT Music and Arts Club' was inaugurated at Maharaja Institute of Technology, Thandavapura (MITT), Nanjangud, recently. Vinayak Honnavar, a noted flautist and nada yoga trainer, who was the guest speaker, enlightened the students on technological aspects of Indian music. He also demonstrated Ragas Hamsadhwani and Bairagi Bhairav on Indian bamboo flute.
The event began with invocation by students of 1st year BE course. Dr. B.K. Venkatesh, Associate Professor and Head, Department of Engineering Chemistry, MIT Thandavapura, who is also the Co-ordinator of Club, welcomed.
