Mandya: Mandya Assistant Commissioner (AC) and his driver had a miraculous escape, when the official vehicle in which he was travelling rammed into a container truck from behind near Hosa Boodanur yesterday afternoon.
AC Suraj was travelling in his official vehicle (KA-11 G-0639) with his driver behind the wheels on some official work. As an accident involving a mini bus had occurred the previous night, works pertaining to clearing of the vehicle was going on resulting in vehicles plying on one side of the road.
