The Mysore Grahakara Parishat (MGP) has chosen ‘Food Safety’ as the prime subject for discussion and interaction on a virtual platform of webinar for this month to be held on Sunday (Mar.14) between 4 pm and 5pm. The main speaker on Food Safety will be Dr. Prasad, Medical Officer, Food Safety, which comes under the Food Safety Commissionerate, Health and Family Welfare Department, Government of Karnataka.
The matter for discussion will be ‘Your guide for safe and nutritious food at home’, mainly concentrating on adulterated food items causing health problems. The programme is convened in view of the observance of World Consumer Day on Mar. 15 and its significance.
