Mysore/Mandya: The temple town of Melukote in Pandavapura taluk of the district is spruced up for the famous Vairamudi Utsava tomorrow (Mar.24).
Speaking to presspersons at her office here yesterday, DC Dr. Aswathi said that the Utsava will take place at Melukote’s Cheluvanarayanaswamy temple. In this backdrop, the entry of devotees to the temple has been banned from 2 pm tomorrow. The rituals will take place from 7am to 12 noon, following which the Vairamudi Utsava will take place later in the night.
