Mysore/Mysuru: To ramp up the National Vaccination Drive, Apollo Hospitals Group today conducted a mega COVID vaccination drive Pan India. The drive was held by Apollo BGS Hospitals in city also to administer vaccine to the general public at the rate prescribed by the Government of India.
The drive started at 9.30 am at three places — Hospital’s main unit, at Ganabharathi and also at its tied-up Brindavan Hospital. It will go on up to 7.30 pm. The rate per dose of Covishield vaccine is Rs. 880 and Rs.1,410 for Covaxin. A number of citizens turned up at these Centres to get vaccinated against payment as the Government sites are temporarily shut. Even on-the-spot registration was allowed to take the jab. “We have a stock of 15,000 doses. I appeal to citizens to make use of it,” said Ravi Kumar, Chief Operating Officer, Apollo BGS Hospitals, Mysuru.
