Mysuru: The Central Government has issued orders revising the fixed medical allowance from Rs. 500 to Rs. 1,000 with effect from July 1 and directed the pension drawing banks to draw the same to those who are in receipt of fixed medical allowances.
To enable the concerned PPO issuing authorities to revise the pension, taking the notional fixation into consideration, all the pensioners are advised to submit the details to the Divisional Financial Advisors whom PPOs are issued, according to a press release from the Railway Pensioners Welfare Association, Mysuru.
