MDCA Rapid Chess Tournament: Shivanth emerges champion

Shivanth with seven points from seven rounds won the Mysore District Rapid Chess Tournament 2018 conducted by the Mysore District Chess Association (MDCA) at the University Lions Hall here on Sunday. Prasiddhi Bhat with 6 points (41.5) secured the second place, while Mayuradhithya with 6 points (41) finished third. The prizes to the winners were given away by M. Kayvashree, former Karnataka State women's chess champion and Director Celestial Minds Chess Academy, USA. Ramesh, University of Mysore, Syndicate Member, Prof. Mallanna and K.R.
