Mysuru: The Mysuru City Corporation presented a surplus Budget of Rs.7.07 crore. The Budget for the financial year 2018-19 was presented by Finance and Taxation Standing Committee Chairman K.P. Ashwini at Nalwadi Krishnaraja Wadiyar Hall in the MCC premises this morning.
The Budget was tabled under the chairmanship of Mayor B. Bhagyavathi. The size of the Budget is Rs.712.54 crore, with an opening balance of Rs. 147.48 crore. The Budget expects revenue of Rs. 565.05 crore as against an expenditure of Rs.705.47 crore, leaving the MCC with a surplus of Rs.7.07 crore.
