Mysore/Mysuru: A team of officials from Mysuru City Corporation (MCC), led by Mayor Sunanda Palanetra and elected representatives, who conducted surprise raids, on hookah bars violating norms, have issued warning of legal action against them.
As decided during the MCC Council Meeting, Mayor Sunanda Palanetra, Dy. Mayor Anwar Baig, former Mayor Ayub Khan, Standing Committee on Health Chairperson Usha Kumar, Ruling Party leader Shivakumar, JD(S) leader Ashwini Ananthu and others raided four hookah bars coming under MCC Zone-4 and inspected the premises.
