Mysuru: In an early morning operation, officials from the Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) sealed a hotel located in Maharajas Complex opposite the KSRTC Sub-Urban Bus Stand, for not complying with MCC notice that had asked the hotel owner not to block the drainage by dumping waste. Following complaints from the public that stinky drainage water was continuously spilling onto the streets due to the blockage of the drain, the MCC had issued a notice to the hotel owner several days ago. But the hotel owner ignored the notice and continued with his old practice of dumping hotel waste into the drainage. However, the authorities said that the seal will be opened if the hotel owner ensures free passage of water in the drain.
