Mysuru: Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) is fully geared up to meet with any eventualities arising out of heavy rains during monsoon season. Three Abhaya teams have been set up to face the situation arising out of natural calamities. These teams are working round the clock and whenever trees fall due to storm and heavy winds, the trees are being cleared.
Likewise when the rains enter homes in low-lying areas, the MCC staff use sucking machines and other equipment to drain the water. Also, all the storm water drains and L/U shaped drainages are being cleaned with extra staff being deployed.
