Mysuru: Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) has failed to collect annual service tax from over 100 Government offices. This startling revelation came to light from a Corporator during the MCC Council Meeting held at MCC office here yesterday.
It was said that out of 165 Government offices in the MCC limits, the tax is not recovered from 103 offices. Corporator H.N. Srikantaiah and others urged the officials to submit a report on failure to collect the tax.
