The Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) budget for the year 2025-26 will be presented in the second week of March (after Mar. 7), according to MCC Commissioner Shaikh Tanveer Asif.
Noting that the MCC has held pre-budget consultation with former Mayors, Hotel Owners Association, Mysore Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mysuru Travel Agents Association and all other stakeholders, Asif said that the budget will be presented with focus on betterment of infrastructure. Also, importance will be given for revenue augmentation through meeting of targets in collection of property tax, rent, advertisement fee, trade licence fee, plan licence, Khata-Kandaya etc., he said adding that focus would be on strengthening of MCC economy.
