Due to COVID-19 crisis, the Suttur Mutt which used to conduct mass marriage during the annual Suttur Jatra Mahotsava which generally used to take place in January/February every year at Suttur in Nanjangud taluk, will now hold it in the next 11 months on different dates. The brides and bridegrooms, who register for the mass marriage, will be provided ‘Mangalya’ and wedding clothes free of cost and the couple who enter wedlock, can avail Governmental benefits too. Interested brides and bridegrooms wishing to enter wedlock in the mass marriage programme, can register by submitting the required documents.
