Mass marriage at Suttur

Suttur Srikshetra, apart from organising mass marriages during the Jathra Mahotsava, is also organising mass marriages every month since February 2009. All sections of society are eligible to take part in these mass marriages. The next monthly mass marriage will be held on Mar. 25 at Suttur in Nanjangud. The prospective bridegrooms and brides, who have completed 21 and 18 years of age respectively may apply along with their photographs, caste certificates and age proof certificate based on school admission records. Free saree, blouse, panche, valli, shirt, mangalya and silver toe-ring will be provided. Those interested may contact the Administrator, JSS Educational Institutions, Suttur, directly 8 days before the wedding.
