Mysuru: The University of Mysore has decided to withdraw degrees of 21 students, who were involved in marks tampering. This decision was taken at the Academic Council meeting held here yesterday.
A decision was also taken to take action against the employees who are involved in the irregularities. An inquiry committee led by retired District Judge R. Venkatesh was appointed by the University to look into the malpractice with some employees and middlemen involved.
