Mysuru: A City Court has sentenced a man to two years imprisonment besides imposing a penalty of Rs.5,000 for threatening the parents of a girl whom he was seeking friendship. S. Madesha is the one who was sentenced. Madesha was allegedly pestering a girl to fall in love with him. When the girl’s parents asked him to stop pestering the girl, Madesha is said have threatened them.
The Third Additional District and Sessions Court Judge S. Surendranath, who heard the case, found Madesha guilty of the charges and sentenced him. Public Prosecutor Vasanthi M. Angadi argued on behalf of the State.
