Even as operations to retrieve bodies of flood victims is still on in Kodagu, personnel of the Fire Services Department and Dubare Rafting Team were involved in trying to fish out the body of a man who jumped into Cauvery River in Kushalnagar this morning. Lokesh, (28), resident of Koppa and a daily wager, allegedly leapt into the river at 7.30 am following a family dispute. The combined operation was called off this afternoon after the search proved futile. It will continue tomorrow morning to fish out the body, said sources.
