Mysore/Mysuru: A man, who had taken loans for huge rate of interest, has ended his life by allegedly hanging self at a lodge in Vijayanagar here yesterday morning.
The deceased youth is Suresh, a resident of Huyilalu village at Yelwal Hobli in the taluk.
It is said that Suresh, before ending his life, had recorded a video where he has stated that he had taken loans for huge interest rates and was unable to repay them, following which he was ending his life.
Vijayanagar Inspector Suresh Kumar and staff, who reached the spot, conducted mahazar.
The body was shifted to MMC&RI mortuary where post-mortem was conducted, before handing over the body to the family members last evening.
A case has been registered and investigation is on.
