Virajpet: A 42-year-old man, who had gone to inspect his house under construction, died after falling from the steps of the stairs of the house on the outskirts of Virajpet.
The deceased is Chandapanda Anil Appanna, son of C.M. Poovaiah, residing in Arji Panchayat limits in Virajpet taluk. Anil, who was constructing a house at Arji village, left his home on June 15 evening, saying that he was going to the new house to see the construction but did not return. His family members thought that he would be staying at the new house.
