RAAGA Music Academy's 80th monthly music concert for wellness will see young Karnatak vocalist Vidwan S.R. Vinay perform at the premises of Prajna Kuteera Ayurveda Centre in Kuvempunagar on Feb.15 at 5.30 pm. He will be accompanied by senior violinist Vid. C.N. Tyagarajan, Vid. Malladi Aravind on mridanga and Vid. T.N. Ajay on ghata. The concert will be preceded by a talk on Healthy Living through Ayurveda and Yoga by Dr. N.V Krishnamurthy, Director Prajna Kuteera, at 4.30 pm.
Profile: Vid. Vinay had his initial training under Vidushi Seethalakshmi, Vidushi Lalitha Chandramouli and later came under the tutelage of Vidwan R.K. Padmanabha. He is currently undergoing advanced training under Vidwan Malladi Suribabu, the father of Vidwans Malladi Sreeramprasad and Ravi Kumar.
