Mysuru: As part of Mahila Dasara-2018 to be organised jointly by Karnataka State Women Development Corporation and Department of Women and Child Welfare from Oct.10 to 14, an exhibition-cum-sale of products made by Sthree Shakti groups will be held at Scouts and Guides Grounds near the DC’s office here. Exclusive handicrafts, paintings, handloom and embroidery item made by members of Sthree Shakti groups would be given top priority in the expo. Members of such groups interested to participate in the expo should apply to the Deputy Director, Department of Women and Child Welfare, Mysuru,with reference letter from the Child Development Project Officer of the respective taluk before Sept.25. Sample items of the products to be exhibited should be brought for selection to Sthree Shakti Bhavan in Vijayanagar 2nd Stage on Sept.28 at 2 pm.
