Maharudrabhishekha for the Nandi Statue near Chamundi Hill has been organised for the 8th year by Mettalu Hattuva Balaga of city on Nov.12 at 10 am. Disclosing this at a press meet at Pathrakartara Bhavan here recently, Balaga Convenor Ravi said that about 500 litres of milk and 250 litres of curd along with 47 various items would be utilised to perform the abhisheka. He added that the Statue would be cleaned with water thoroughly after the rituals. Balaga members Mahadevu, Praveen, Sridhar and others were present during the press meet.
