As part of the programme, a sports competition for women and children has been organised at 5.30 pm the same day (Sept. 9). On Sept. 10, noted singer Nithin Rajaram Shastri and troupe will present a Musical Nite of Kannada and Hindi hit songs at 5.30 pm. The Mahaganapathi idol procession will be taken out in the main thoroughfares of Krishnamurthypuram at 6.30 pm on Sept. 11, following which Prasada will be distributed among the devotees.
