Mandya: Four occupants of a car had a miraculous escape when the car in which they were travelling fell into VC Canal at Machahalli village in the taluk yesterday.
It is learnt that a man from Pandavapura, along with his wife and two children, was proceeding towards Pandavapura and when the car took a turn at Machahalli, the person behind the wheels of the car lost control of the vehicle which plunged into the canal. As there was very less water in the canal, the family escaped with minor injuries.
