The Mysuru sub-branch of National Federation of the Blind will be celebrating Louis Braille birth anniversary on Jan.13 (Sunday) at KSRP Fifth Batallion, near Jockey Quarters, Kurubarahalli. Mayor Pushpalatha Jagannath will inaugurate the event at 9.30 am. Basavaraju, State Commissioner for Persons with Disabilities, KSRP Commandant K.S. Raghunath and Mysuru District Differently-abled Welfare Officer Abhikumar will be the chief guests on the occasion. The event will also feature Braille reading and writing and cultural contests for visually challenged persons. The valedictory will take place at 4 pm. MCC Commissioner K.H. Jagadeesha, ZP CEO K.
