Mysuru: Vikala Vikaasa, an organisation working for the differently-abled, as part of World Braille Day, presented Vikala Vikasa Louis Braille Award to journalist L. Subramani of Deccan Herald at a programme organised at Patrakarthara Bhavan here yesterday.
University of Mysore (UoM) In-charge Vice-Chancellor Prof. C. Basavaraju, speaking after presenting the award, said that specially-abled persons were more knowledgeable and have good grasping power than normal persons and said that they should be given special respect.
