As part of the nation-wide stir by lorry owners protesting against the steep rise in Insurance premium and pressing for other demands, lorries in the State will go off roads from midnight of Mar. 30, according to Shanmukappa, President, State Lorry Owners Association. The State Government had promised to discuss the issues with lorry owners this morning in Bengaluru but as the meeting did not come through, the lorry owners have decided to withdraw all the transport vehicles from roads from Mar. 30, explained Shanmukappa.
