Mysuru: The Police wing of Karnataka Lokayukta began receiving complaints from public in non-corruption cases that have been listed under the Karnataka Lokayukta Act 1984. However, it has no jurisdiction over corruption cases booked under Prevention of Corruption Act as the Anti Corruption Bureau or the ACB will investigate the same.
The Lokayukta Police team accepted complaints this morning from the public at Chamundi Guest House, opposite Junior Maharaja College on the JLB Road. The team is headed by Dy.SP K.B. Swamy and Inspector M. Mahadeva Swamy.
