Applications have been invited from the Farmer Producer Companies for providing four percent subsidy on interest rate for the loans advanced up to Rs. 20 lakh by Co-operative Societies and commercial banks, to encourage 100 Farmer Producer Companies of backward taluks and to strengthen them. Barring Mysuru taluk, the Farmer Producer Companies in remaining eight taluks can apply for availing the benefit.
The format of application can be obtained from the Office of the Joint Director, Agriculture Department in the city and submitted along with complete documents before 5 pm of Dec. 18.
