As part of outreach programme announced by Union Ministry of Finance for Public Sector Unit Banks, the State Bank of India (SBI) will conduct a two-day loan mela at its main branch on New Sayyaji Rao Road from Oct. 4. Addressing presspersons at DC Office here yesterday morning, SBI Deputy General Manager Arungiri said that the loan melas had been organised across 400 districts in the country in two phases and the first phase would be held between Oct. 3 and 7 in 250 districts and Mysuru was one among them.
