Mysore/Mysuru: Applications are invited from eligible persons for PM Street Vendor’s Atmanirbhar Nidhi (PM SVANidhi), a micro financing scheme which is aimed at helping street vendors.
Under this scheme, digital loan repayment scheme is encouraged and attractive prizes are given. Each beneficiary will get a loan of Rs.10,000. Those who are into street vending before March 24, 2020 and having identity card will be considered. Others who do not have the identity card are also eligible but for which they have to bring recommendation letter from the authorities concerned. Loan should be re-paid within one year. Those who promptly repay loan would be given a subsidy of 7 per cent which will be deposited directly into their bank account.
