Bengaluru: Women and Child Development Minister Lakshmi Hebbalkar said that pre-primary classes - LKG (Lower Kindergarten) and UKG (Upper Kindergarten), will be started in Anganwadi centres.
Speaking to presspersons here yesterday, Lakshmi Hebbalkar said that LKG and UKG will be set up in 250 Anganwadi centres across the State on a pilot basis. The Government itself will provide bags, books, uniforms etc., to children, she added.
