Mysuru: MLA M.K. Somashekar  launched a demonstration and awareness programme on dengue eradication, organised by ‘Swachcha Karnataka - Arogya Karnataka’ at Gandabherunda Park next to Jayamma Govindegowda Kalyanamantap on Udayaravi Road in Kuvempungar this morning.

Speaking on the occasion, Somashekar said mosquito menace was the main cause for the spread of dengue and it has been found that ‘Limia’ and ‘Guppy’ species of fish consume mosquito larvae, thus reducing the menace.
