Bengaluru: Renowned Kannada Lyricist and Music Director Hamsalekha has been selected for the prestigious ‘Lifetime Achievement’ award of the 17th Bengaluru International Film Festival (BIFFes) being held at Bengaluru, in consideration of his outstanding contribution to Kannada film industry.
Hamsalekha will be conferred the award by Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar at the valedictory of the International Film Festival to be held at Lulu Mall in Bengaluru today evening (Feb.6), in the presence of Health Minister Dinesh Gundurao and several personalities from the film industry.
