As part of the University of Mysore (UoM) Gubbi Veeranna Rangapeetha’s annual lecture series, veteran actress, singer and Director Dr. B. Jayashri will deliver the opening lecture on Gubbi Veeranna’s life and achievements at the University Fine Arts College, Manasagangothri at 11am tomorrow (Aug.31). A documentary on Theatre Maestro Gubbi Veeranna, titled ‘Natakarathna’, will be screened on the occasion. UoM registrar Prof. Lingaraj Gandhi will inaugurate the programme. College Principal Dr. C. Rangaswamy will preside. Actor Mandya Ramesh who is part of Gubbi Veeranna Rangapeetha, will be present.
