As part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, D. Devaraj Urs Backward Classes Development Corporation which had invited online applications from eligible candidates belonging to Category-1 2A, 3A and 3B and backward class communities for imparting skill development training through a short-term course at Government institutions like ITIs, GTTC and KGTTI has extended its last date till Sept. 29.

Candidates aged between 18 and 25 years and those who are coming under D. Devaraj Urs Backward Classes Development Corporation, Karnataka Nomadic and Semi-Nomadic Development Corporation, Karnataka Madiwala Machideva Development Corporation, Karnataka Savitha Samaja Development Corporation, Karnataka Vishwakarma Communities Development Corporation, Karnataka Uppara Development Corporation and Nijasharana Ambigara Chowdaiah Development Corporation (barring Vokkaliga, Lingayat, Kadugolla, Hattigolla and Maratha) can apply. Candidates must have a pass in SSLC, PUC, Diploma, any Degree or Engineering course. Annual income of candidates belonging to Category-1 will have no limit while for categories 2A, 3A and 3B must not exceed more than Rs. 8 lakh.
