Bengaluru: MMysuru-based artist and senior photographer S.M. Jambukeshwara, along with two other artists — Madhu Desai of Dharwad and Upadhyaya Moodubelle of Udupi — has been chosen for the coveted Lalit Kala Akademi Award - 2018 instituted by Karnataka State Lalit Kala Akademi.
This was disclosed to press persons at Bengaluru recently by Chairperson of the Akademi Prof. M.J. Kamalakshi. The Award, comprising a cash prize of Rs. 50,000 each, a citation and a memento, will be conferred in Bengaluru on Oct.5.
