Mysuru: Opposing the Union Government’s move to favour the corporate sector by privatising Government organisations, Joint Committee of Leftists has announced a Labour Strike on Jan.8 and 9 to protect the interests of the labour class in various sectors.
Disclosing this at a press meet at Pathrakartara Bhavan here yesterday, Socialist Unity Centre of India (SUCI) District Committee Organising Secretary M. Umadevi said that the Union Government was following an anti-labour policy and supporting corporates draining crores of rupees.
