Kuvempu Institution of Kannada Studies (KIKS), Manasagangothri, has organised Rashtrakavi Kuvempu’s 112th birth anniversary celebrations at the main entrance of Manasagangothri tomorrow (Dec. 29) at 10.30 am. University of Mysore Vice-Chancellor Prof. G. Hemantha Kumar and Registrar Prof. R. Shivappa will offer floral tributes to the statue of Kuvempu at the venue. Later, a felicitation programme will be held at the KIKS premises. Prof. G. Hemantha Kumar will inaugurate the event. Prof. R. Shivappa and retd. Kannada Professor N. Boralingaiah will be the chief guests. Retired Kannada Professors C.P. Siddashrama and R. Ramakrishna and retd. Folk Professor Nanjaiah Honganur will be felicitated on the occasion.
