Mysuru: The Government-constituted eight-member committee to look into the writ petitions on Kurubarahalli Survey No. 4 and Alanahalli Survey No. 41 has decided to bring to the notice of the Karnataka High Court to exclude the layouts coming under the said survey numbers from “B Kharab” (government land) classification and then submit a proposal to the State Government.
At the third meeting held yesterday at Room No. 510, Revenue Department, MS Building in Bengaluru, the committee, headed by Mysuru DC D. Randeep, opined that as the layouts including Alanahalli, K.C. Nagar and Income Tax Layouts have been formed years ago from the land that has been sanctioned by City Improvement Trust Board (CITB) (now MUDA), it was legitimate to exclude the layouts from “B Kharab” classification.
