Bengaluru: The Department of Public Instruction yesterday announced that the Karnataka State Evaluation and Assessment Board (KSEAB) will conduct annual exams for students of classes 5 and 8 from the current academic year. This is applicable for all Schools affiliated to the State Board.
The decision is part of the Government’s effort to measure the progress and performance of students at the elementary level for the entire year. The main objective is to bring more seriousness among students and recover from the learning loss caused due to the pandemic.
