Bengaluru: The Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board (KSEAB) has submitted a proposal to the State Government recommending changes to the Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) examination, including aligning it more closely with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) model.
KSEAB is said to have recommend for reducing the minimum pass marks from the current 35 to 33, in line with CBSE and Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) standards. The Board has also proposed a reduction in the total marks for the first language paper, bringing it down from 125 to 100.
