Inspiring batting performances by S. Suprith (73) and L. Hemanth Kumar (64), combined with some good bowling by Surya A. Naragund (5/14), enabled SBRR Mahajana FGC to register a big 161-run win over Sarada Vilas College, Mysuru, in the semi-final of the KSCA Mysuru Zone Inter-Collegiate Cricket Tournament played at the SDNR Wadiyar Grounds here yesterday.
Batting first, SBRR Mahajana FGC posted a total of 210/5 in 30 overs. Good batting performances by S. Suprith (73, 4x4, 2x6) and L. Hemanth Kumar (64, 6x4) boosted the total.
