An excellent century by Mysuru Zone's opening batsman B. Dheemanth (127, 145b, 13x4, 3x6) and his 71-run opening wicket partnership with skipper S.J. Nikin Jose (27) and 62-run second wicket partnership with P. Vishnu (62, 84b, 6x4, 1x6) helped Mysuru to score 266 for five in 50 overs, and in reply, assisted by some inspired bowling by medium-pacers K. Shashank (3 for 19) and M. Utham Aiyappa (3 for 12) bowled out Tumakuru Zone for a paltry 48 in 20.4 overs and registered a big 218-run win, in their first match of the KSCA Inter-Mofussil Tournament for U-23 years at Alur Grounds, Bengaluru, on Tuesday.
