Helped by an unbeaten knock of 85 (112b, 12x4) by Nirmith Shashidhar, Tumakuru Zone registered a facile eight wicket win over Mysuru Zone in the KSCA Inter-Mofussil Tournament for U-19 played at the RWF Grounds here on Monday. Batting first, Mysuru Zone were bowled out for 129 in 41.4 overs. D. Amruth Raj (35) and C. Hemanth Kumar (31) were the scorers. B.N. Shashank Gowda bowled well for Tumakuru bagging five for 28. In reply, Tumakuru Zone scored 131 for two in 36 overs and registered a facile eight wicket win. Nirmith Shashidhar (85 n.o.) and Pranav Bellur (27 n.o.) were the scorers for Tumakuru. However, Mysuru Zone topped the league table with four wins from five games.
